Boys Should Be Boys

In the crusade of man-shaming, emasculation, and the overall feminization of masculinity, we see there is little the left can do to change traditional masculine traits in adult men; however, an effective attack on masculinity does not start with men resolute in their manliness – it starts off the weak beta males and young boys. Radical leftists know that effective indoctrination starts young. As boys grow up, they are prone to wrestling, fighting, risk-taking, competition, playing war, and other common boyhood activities. The left says there is something wrong with letting boys be boys. Therefore, to combat leftists trying to make a new masculinity, we need to let boys be boys.

The term “let boys be boys” has been demonized by the left. They portray the saying as something that teaches males of all ages to act on bad behavior. Leftists falsely proclaim that the mantra means that unjustified violence, sexual assault, or any immoral or criminal action by a young boy to an adult male is excused; another leftist declaration is once again culturally politicized into something patently false on purpose.

In fact, the leftist theory is a lie intended to shame masculinity. The goal is to make young boys think that their natural urges mentioned at the beginning of this article is wrong. Once an indoctrinator (so-called educator – and not all of them fall into this category ) or celebrity or pop culture icon or pundit repeats the claim incessantly, eventually boys who are not taught their boyhood and sought masculinity is okay will believe the lies – these falsehoods cause internal confusion and conflict which is unhealthy mentally, and likely to exhibit themselves outwardly through actions, words, and other behaviors.

Instead, boys need to be told that being aggressive, physical, passionate, competitive, risk-taker, pursuing a girl, etc., is okay. However, they need a forthright and stand-up masculine influence to teach them the importance of self-control, discipline, manners, morals, and values to ensure these natural qualities are properly channeled. If a boy is provided positive masculine influence, he will most likely use these qualities for good.

The danger in not allowing boys to be who they are naturally is mentally destructive. They are told that it is bad to be a male. Meanwhile, girls are allowed to commit destructive acts, and it is okay for them. There will likely be confusion from this, which will breed chaos, and that will certainly bring self-destructive acts.

Allowing girls to be girls and condemning young boys for being typical boys destroys half of our society. Still, no one wants to talk about that. The left is given a voice in Big Media and Big Tech; however, the idea that there may be someone that wants to present a counterargument to discouraging boys from being boys is abhorrent and unthinkable. Not allowing a counter viewpoint is a shame and catastrophic. The left cannot comprehend that their ideas and theories destroy, not build up. But when a group is bent on only identity politics and their ideology instead of critical thinking and reality-based theories, what do you expect?

We need boys to be boys. More importantly, boys need to be boys.
