If You Fail to Plan, You Are Planning to Fail.

Do you have a plan? I had one for me, but how much does that matter when you have a family? No, it doesn't. If you've listened to the Martyr Made podcast, you've heard horror stories of Jews dragged from their homes, dad, mom, and children killed in the streets. It seems far off, far fetched, and not really a problem, especially if you're living in America. But is it that far fetched here?

Look at Portland. They've had 50+ nights of lawlessness. During the riots in Dallas, the police lost control of the city for a while. Militia had to come and protect businesses. Videos out of Seattle and Portland look like a warzone, like some country we here about on the news, but it'll never happen here. So I ask you again, do you have a plan? Maybe you don't have an idea for all scenarios, but you need to start working on plans in your mind. Once you have a plan, then you need to start training to execute the plan. More importantly, you MUST bring your family or loved ones into your planning and start wargaming.

My wife and I sat on the couch a few nights ago and talked about the different ways someone would break into our home. We discussed what she would do, what I would do, and what the kids would do. We talked about being in a gunfight in our home and how we'd keep the kids protected. What if I took rounds? We talked about it. How would we keep the kids safe in a firefight knowing there will be over-penetration? How do I approach that fight? These were a few of the scenarios we discussed. We are going to start running drills with our kids, so they know what to do.

I pray that this never happens. I don't want to stack bodies with my wife and kids in the house, but I would much rather be prepared for it, and it never happens, than not prepared and leave it to chance.

You know something else that's more likely to happen than the above scenario? Someone breaks in while I'm at work, and my wife is home with the kids. What do you do then? How would she perform? Or maybe it's not your wife. Perhaps it's your mom living alone. Could she handle the situation?

Let's imagine you're driving with your family. You turn the corner, and there is a mob blocking the street. What do you do?

I don't have the answers for every situation, but I'm working on them. I involve my wife and my kids. As a man, you are a leader. That's what you're put here to do. Protection is wrapped up in that leadership role. It's your job to look into the future and see potential threats and prepare for them. I'm not saying you can foresee all dangers, but you can prepare for ones you can see. If you think it's far fetched that a mob could come down your street and attack your home… maybe you need to start reading what some of these people are saying. If President Trump is re-elected, I think we are going to see a lot of crap hit the fan. Leftist lost their minds and screamed in the streets when he was elected. Now, these people are burning buildings, attacking cops, and assaulting federal officers.

I pray I'm training for something that will never happen. I love my country, and it greatly pains me to see what's going on. It pains me to see leaders not protect their people, but if these leaders are going to let their people suffer, then real men need to stand in the gap. That's what real men do. We stand for those who can't defend themselves.

I'm not just preparing to protect my family; I'm preparing to defend my neighbors. I don't say this to scare you. I'm telling you this because, beating in your chest is a warrior, and you should be honing those warrior skills. The time may never come that you have to use them. Still, as Jordan Peterson said, "A Harmless Man Is Not a Good Man. A Good Man Is a Very Dangerous Man Who Has That Under Voluntary Control." So I'm telling you to be a good man. Become a dangerous man. Be a toxic man! Train like your family's life depends on it, like your neighbor's life depends on it, like your country depends on it.

Thomas Jefferson famously said, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. It is it's natural manure."

If that time for refreshing is coming, I'll be ready. I'll be standing in the gap, I'll be holding the line, and I won't be alone. I'm not saying you or I will be Navy Seals or Delta. This isn't our fulltime job, but we can become harder. We can become men of violence.

Just some food for thought. Nothing may ever happen. You and I may live out our days in tranquil peace. You may think I'm extreme, and you're probably right. My wife tells me all the time I'm extreme. It's one of the things she loves about me. I think it is better to be a violent man in peace, then a lamb in time of violence.

Be violent, and stay toxic!
